Macleod JFC Finals Summary

• Finals kicked off for the junior club last weekend and below is a summary of how it panned out. There will be more finals on Sunday with the undefeated Division 1 Youth Boys (Colts) team in action.
• We had 7 teams out of 11 (age eligible) make finals this season, U11 Boys, U12 Boys, Under 13 Boys, U16 Boys, U16 Girls, Youth Girls and Youth Boys.
• Our U11 Boys and U16 Boys won their qualifying finals last weekend and now go straight to Grand Finals.
• Our U12 Boys & Youth Girls lost their elimination finals last weekend. It was a great effort by the U12 boys to make finals, after winning last year’s GF and being promoted to Div 1 so to make finals was a fantastic effort. The Youth Girls were unlucky to lose a close game, coming from behind and just missing out.
• The U16 Girls had a great win in their elimination final, winning by one point to play in a qualifying final on Sunday.
• Our U13 Boys had a close loss in their qualifying final last weekend, but they get another chance to qualify for the GF.
• The Youth Boys start their finals this weekend after the week off, in the end going undefeated for the season in Div 1.
