Our title defence is on the line when we take on Heidelberg for this year’s NFL Division 1 premiership.
A big crowd was on hand at De Winton Park last night to hear the all-important team from NFL coach of the year Garry Ramsay. With several players coming back from injury, there was always going to be some hard luck stories and sadly Matty Yarwood and James Condello have missed out. They have made way for Nick Lynch and Lucas Hobbs who have both come up after a few weeks’ rest. We have a team that is up for the challenge so good luck to the players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes.
Special mention to our inspirational premiership skipper Kane Shaw who plays his 250th game tomorrow. Kane broke the all-time games record for Macleod earlier this year and how fitting it would be if he could hold the cup aloft tomorrow after his milestone game.
